FAQ


1.How long have you been in business?
   Phil Coggeshall has been in business since 1981.

  1. 1.Are you insured?
     Yes. I am fully covered with General Liability Insurance.

3. Who will be performing the work; will it be primarily 
 Phil Coggeshall performs all demolition,

     job supervision, rough & finish carpentry,

     sub management. Typically employ Masonry, Plumbing,

     HVAC, Electrical, Drywall, Tilework, Carpeting Sub-Contractors.

4. If we decide to sign-on with your company how soon would you

    be able to start our project?

I can work most projects into our schedule in a timely manner.

     Some projects such as kitchens are based on cabinet delivery dates

     that may take up to 5 weeks. The 1st available time start will be

     discussed with the customer upon signing of the contract.

5. What are your normal hours of operation?
 My normal work day is 8:00 to 3:00.

6. How long will our project last
       I will develop a time line from describes each phase of your

     project. This enables you to anticipate each stage of the job as it occurs.

    I will review this on a regular basis.


Lead Carpenter System


      Under the Lead Carpenter System, all  work on a project from start

to finish is produced and coordinated by Phil Coggeshall.

Phil is an expert in all phases of home improvement

and remodeling work from foundation to finish carpentry. The

homeowner benefits from having a single source of contact and

responsibility for their project, and a higher level of quality.

Lead Carpenter’s Responsibilities

    Do all carpentry work

    Schedule and Manage all subs

    Keep the job on schedule

    Administer the Draw Payment schedule

    Prepare all change Orders

Change Orders

    All change orders will be written and priced by the lead carpenter 

    A signature is required before work can be authorized.

    Any change orders over $ 500.00 will require a 50% deposit.

    Payment will be due upon completion

    Remember any change orders agreed upon may extend the finish

date of the project.

Orientation

    Review all details and customer concerns

    Discuss start times and access to the property

        (such as obtaining a key or garage door remote)

    Finalize Starting date
